Beverly D'Angelo
D'Angelo was born in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Priscilla Ruth (nee Smith), a violinist, as well as Eugene Constantino "Gene" D'Angelo, a bass player and TV station manager at WBNS-TV in Columbus. Her father was of Italian descent. Eugenio and Rosina, her paternal grandparents were immigrants from Italy, who came from Introdacqua. She is the mother of Jeff, Tim, and Tony. Their grandfather's maternal lineage, Howard Dwight Smith, was an architect who designed Ohio Stadium, nicknamed "the Horseshoe" at Ohio State University. D'Angelo was born in Upper Arlington High School, Ohio. This is a suburb in northwest Columbus. In 2009, she was awarded the Upper Arlington Alumni Association (UAAA) Distinguished Alumnus Award for accomplishments in her professional career. D'Angelo was an illustrator at Hanna-Barbera Studios and as a singer before pursuing an interest in acting. She was born in America rockabilly and rockabilly singer Rompin' Ronnie Hawkins' backup singer when she was in Canada. After going out on their own , they formed The Band, a group which is regarded as legendary.
