Jennifer Garner

 Jennifer Anne Garner (born April 17th 1973) is an American actress from the United States. Garner was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Charleston. She studied theater at Denison University before beginning acting as an understudy at Roundabout Theatre Company, New York City. Her screen debut was in the adaptation for television of Danielle Steel's romance novel Zoya in 1995. There were guest appearances on television and supporting film roles, as well as a featured role on the teen drama television series Time of Your Life (1999-2000) and a minor role in the war drama Pearl Harbor (2001).Garner gained recognition for her leading performance in the role of CIA officer Sydney Bristow in the ABC spy-action thriller TV show Alias (2001-2006). For her work in the series, she won the Golden Globe for Best Actress for a Television Series Drama and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress in a Television Drama as well as four nominations consecutively for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Her performance in 13 Going on 30 (2004) was well-received, and she would later portray Elektra in the films about superheroes, Daredevil 2003 and Elektra 2005. Her commercial successes continued through her roles in Juno (2007) and the romantic comedy Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2010).
